List of Major Fine Ceramics Materials

This is a list of main fine ceramics materials. Please refer to it for material selection.

Fine ceramics are classified into two types: engineering ceramics and machinable ceramics. Engineering ceramics are processed by cutting and then sintered, and after sintering, they can only be subjected to grinding and polishing, which gives them excellent wear resistance. Machinable ceramics, on the other hand, are not sintered after cutting, allowing them to be machined multiple times like general resins and metals. However, they are harder, more brittle, and prone to chipping compared to general resins and metals, making them less machinable and increasing processing time. Fine ceramics possess various characteristics, such as excellent heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and thermal conductivity. Therefore, it is important to select the material based on the required properties.

We will select the material for fine ceramics.

We will select the fine ceramics material according to the application and usage conditions. Please feel free to consult us for new products under development or for existing equipment.

Do you have any of these concerns? 1. We need electrical insulation at a temperature of 500 degrees for a new product under development. We want to use ceramics that excel in heat resistance and electrical insulation, but which type of ceramic should we use? 2. The parts on our factory production line are wearing out quickly, and we need to replace them frequently. We want to make parts from materials that excel in wear resistance, but is ceramic suitable for this? Yutaka Industries can help. Please feel free to contact us by phone or email. If you let us know your application and usage conditions, we will select the optimal fine ceramics and send you relevant materials. Additionally, if you provide us with drawings, we can prepare a quotation.
